The women, all scared when the soldiers charged the camp, ran into the water, the brush. Any place where they could hide themselves and children. Many were killed as they ran.

A short, wonderful hike after lunch took us to the beautiful Ousel Falls. Your follow the crystal clear South Fork of the West Fork of the Gallatin River all the way to the point where it roars over a series of cascades. The trail was easy, and well maintained.

Took the Swift Current lift up to the top, and walked around for awhile. Amazing views up to Lone Mountain, and across the valley.

We rode the Explorer Lift up, and then hiked down the 1.2 mile long Huckleberry Trail. Lots of great views of the area, plus beautiful wildflowers, and a couple of deer. Fairly easy trail down the side of the mountain.

While driving into the resort late last evening the blood moon rose over the mountains welcoming us to This picturesque setting. Unfortunately, we couldn’t pull off to get a picture, but the image was captured in our memories. This is our home for the next few days. We look forward to exploring the cool, Montana mountains.
